Dear Friends,
I am excited to announce that we will be upgrading WeddingBasics.com over the next week to our exciting new look and feel. While the site will be up and running the entire time, you may experience some problems during this time as we upload the new pages etc.
We will try to make most heavy duty changes during off-peak hours but some will happen during the normal business hours. We appreciate your patience! It will be worth it, I promise! The new site has lots of great new features and a fun look!
Have a great weekend!
Lei
There are specific rules of etiquette which are outlined in many different resources about how your envelopes should be addressed. Calligraphy by Conlon refers to Crane’s Wedding Blue Book for formal guidelines. If you need help addressing those envelopes check out this article submiited by Calligraphy by Conlon.
This is a fun article on why you should consider a wedding video. I personally recommend brides do not skip the video because it is something you will cherish after the wedding. My videographer, who shall remain nameless and isn't from Atlanta anyway, had to cancel on me right before my wedding. AtlantaBridal was still brand new and I didn't have the connections that I have now so I was unable to find another videographer on such short notice. I still wanted video documentation so we hired a family friend (who wanted to become a wedding videographer) to video the wedding - BIG MISTAKE. The wedding video is very funny but he didn't capture all of the important moments and he edited cheesy music over the actual ceremony music. Anyway, I think this article is right on! Check it out and good luck! ~ Lei
