I hadn't thought of an emergency kit until this article. I didn't have time to run around getting this and I had everybody else pretty well spoken for with other errands or responsibilities. I found the perfect bag from With You In Mind Inc while searching the net. I even ordered a basket for the reception to place in the womans bathroom, a big hit I have come to learn. Especially since we had a New York destination wedding and it was beautiful. Thanks Wedding Basics!

On the day before my wedding day i had applied even and naturallooking false tan to my legs and arms, and it worked very well!
howeer the next day i realised i had fallen asleep on a cotton pad saturated in false tan and had 2 huge splodges of orange on my knee!
i soaked some cotton wool pads in lemon juics applied these to the orange spots and legft them there for about 15 minutes then had a bath and exfoliated! the tan faded to a natural golden lookin non -streaky glow! it works like magic! jlo was right!

Dear Niki,
Self-tanner is great when it works but nothing is worse than streaky arms and legs! I don't know how fast you need to get rid of your streaks but here are a few tips:- I read somewhere that you can massage mineral oil or baby oil into the skin to dissolve the self-tanner and then follow-up with a really good exfoliator. I have never tried this myself but I believe one of the big cosmetic companies suggested this in a magazine article I read.
- In the movie, The Wedding Planner, Jennifer Lopez's character told a streaky bride to get some lemon juice and a loofah and "scrub scrub scrub" - could be worth a shot!
- You could try to even out the tan by applying self-tanner to the lighter streaks - might be too risky though.
- If you have enough time to order this product or if you can find it in a store like Sephora, St. Tropez makes a tan remover product that is supposed to remove the fake tan. Click here to buy ST. TROPEZ
Self-Tan Remover online from Amazon.com.
I hope this helps! If you find something that definitely works for you, please come back and share with everyone. I am sure this happens to lots of brides!
Good luck!
