Pew Cards

Pew Cards are small cards with a pew number written on them to indicate to special guests that they have an assigned seat. These cards may be sent with the invitation or they may be sent later after everyone had RSVP'd.

Guests should hand these pew cards to the usher before they are seated. This way, the usher will be sure to seat the guest in the proper spot.

Wording

Quite often brides simply choose to write "Within the Ribbon" on the card to indicate that the guest can sit anywhere within a designated area marked by a ribbon.

If you would rather be more specific in your seating, pew cards should read as follows:

M____________
First Methodist Church
Bride's Section
Pew Number __________

OR

John and Sue
First Methodist Church
Bride's Section
Pew Number __________
