Danforth Chapel was dedicated in 1946. It was named after William Danforth whose grant from the Danforth Foundation provided the impetus for beginning construction. [Wedding] Ceremonies may be scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily.
Danforth Chapel may be reserved ...for... a period of two hours for weddings. Danforth Chapel may also be reserved one additional hour for a wedding rehearsal. All reservations must be made through the Student Involvement and Leadership Center, Room 400, Kansas Union, (785) 864-4861. The completed reservation form and payment must be submitted to the Student Involvement and Leadership Center before the requested time can be scheduled.
