Table Linens (Formal and Casual)

Most tablecloths are made of linen or cotton. You may see terms such as jacquard and damask - these terms refer to the weave or finish of the fabric.

The Tablecloth should hang down no more than 8 inches on all sides of the table.

In addition to the tablecloth, you may have items such as undercloths, toppers and runners. These items vary in size, shape and material.

Important tip: Before you go to register for table linens, measure your dining table, including the height from the floor. If you don't have a dining table, don't register for table linens.
